History:

In 1^st May 1991, this Technical Training Institute was founded by V.Ramesh    Kumar to satisfy his dream to develop Electronics in and around Rajapalayam in the name of Asiatic Institute of Technology and trained number of Youths in Radio & T.V. Service.

In 1992, only private Electronic Institute Participated in Science and Engineering Exhibition with 10 different Projects. Our “Star World” with Scud and Patriot Model Missals done wonderful work and got aplash among the Students.

    In 1993, Mr Pradeep V Philip I.P.S. Superintendent of Police, Virudhunagar District, visits this Institute and Inaugurate “International Radio Communicators Club(IRCOM) with Call Sign VU 2 IRC, an Amateur Radio Club with the President ship of Mr N.N.P. Suriya Narayana Raja VU 2 NPS, Mr Sethulinga Boopathi VU 2 MJS as Vice President, V.Ramesh Kumar VU 3 VRF as General Secretary, R. Rajesh Kanna VU 2 ESH as Joint Secretary and B. Murugesan VU 3 BMG as Treasurer. By this Club’s Service, the Rajapalayam Ham Club received “Rajiv Gandhi Award” in 1994. The Institute trained the Students members of the Club and organize the A.S.O.C Exam, conducted by Govt. Of India, Ministry of Telecommunication, W.P.C Wing, New Delhi to get Amateur Wireless License.

 In 1994, Environmental Protection And Research Council(EPARC) was organized by V.Ramesh Kumar, General Secretary with the President ship of Dr Kothanda Raman and by this many Eco based activities are done including Trekking Camps. This Council is formally Inaugurated by District Sessions Judge Mr Navaneetha Krishnan in Lions Matriculation School, Srivilliputtur with the Soul Support of Dr Palraj I.F.S., Wild Life Warden, Giant Grizzled Wild Life Sanctuary, Srivilliputtur.

Cini Actor Mr Charu Hassan VU 2 SCU visits the Institute to discuss about Ham Radio Activities.

Mr Kanagaraj I.A.S., District Collector issued memento to Mr V.Ramesh Kumar VU 3 VRF for taking Amateur Wireless Course for Various College Students at A.K.D.Dharma Raja Girls Hr. Sec. School with the Sponsorship of  UGC Fund, Organised by Dr Chelladurai, Youth Director, M.K.University.

In 1996, this Institute Organized with the Sponsorship of “International Radio Communicators Club”, “ELECTRONICS EXPO” First time in South Tamilnadu at N.A. Annappa Raja Memorial Hr. Sec. School, Rajapalayam. Many Polytechnic and Engineering College Students participated in this.

Mr V.Ramesh Kumar VU 3 VRF received the first IRCOM NEWS LETTER from Mr. Nadarajan DSP, Rajapalayam on this occasion.

In 1995, for the beneficiaries of Srivilliputtur and Watrap area People, Srivilliputtur Study Centre was Inaugurated by Mr. Swaminathan, Principal, A.K. Polytechnic and conduct TRYSEM (Training for Rural Youth Self Employment) training with the Sponsorship of D.R.D.A, Collectorate, Virudhunagar. This free training is also conducted in Rajapalayam.

The Chip Level Computer Hardware Training was Introduced with the Soul Support of Mr Azhagu Murugesan A.E, Doordarshan, Rajapalayam. This was the First Private Institute in South Tamilnadu.

In 1997, for the beneficiaries of Sivakasi, Sattur and Vembakottai area People, Sivakasi Study Centre was Inaugurated by Mr Manikkam, A.P.O, D.R.D.A, Collectorate, Virudhunagar.

In 1998, Industrial Electronics Training was introduced in Rajapalayam Centre. This was the First Private Institute in South Tamilnadu.

In 1998, the Principal of Asiatic Industrial Training School, Selected as Official Governing Council Member (Education) in D.R.D.A, Collectorate, Virudhunagar, to till Date for the Service of Education Development in Rural.

In 2004, the Institute was established as ASIATIC INDUSTRIAL TRAINING SCHOOL, with the approval of Department Of Employment and Training,

Govt. of Tamilnadu, Chennai with the following Trades.

1.   Mechanic General Electronics,

2.   Electrical Technician.

In 2006, a new Trade was commenced.

3.   Mechanic Refrigeration, A/C and Central Plant.

In 2008, further Two Trades were started with the DET approval.

4.   Computer Software and Hardware Maintenance,

5.   Automobile Mechanic.

Free YOGA Camp Conducted at Our Students to improve their Health and Concentration.

 From 2006, this Industrial School gives Several Job Oriented Skill Development Training with the Sponsorship of Our Government as follows.

 On 23.01.2009, Mr Palraj A.P.O, Mahalir Thittam, Collectorate, Virudhunagar inaugurated the Electrical Technician training for 30 trainees fully sponsored by the Government.

 Parents Teachers Meeting held every year to Improve the School and the Students knowledge with discipline.

The Blood Donation Camp was conducted every year in our School from 28.02.2009. Dr S. Balasubramanian, Deputy Director, Health Services, Sivakasi inaugurated the I_st Camp in the presence of Mr M.M. Perumal Raja. Medical Officers Dr A. Hameeda Beevi, Dr Karunagaprabu and Dr Geetha the Blood Bank I/C, Rajapalayam Govt. Hospital are participated in this Camp.  

 

Free Domestic Appliances Maintanance Training conducted in our School with the Sponsorship of “SUGANTHAM OIL MILL” on 03.05.2009. Government Medical Officer Dr A. Hameeda Beevi  inaugurated the function with the Presidentship of Sugantham Mr Ramakrishnan and Mr M.M. Perumal Raja as Guest. Finally Mr Ramaraju felicitate the function.

   

   

Dr S. Balasubramanian, Deputy Director, Health Services, Sivakasi inaugurated the II_nd Camp on 08.10.2009. Medical Officer Dr N. Kalaiselvi, and Dr Geetha the Blood Bank I/C, Rajapalayam Govt. Hospital are participated in this Camp.

 

 Dr Geetha the Blood Bank I/C, Rajapalayam Govt. Hospital inaugurated the IIIrd Camp on 28.04.2011.

 

On 01.10. 2010, R. Murali, Principal of our School, received the Honorarium for organizing blood donation camps during the “World Blood Donation Day” held at Thirunelveli Medical College Auditorium. Mr Jeyaraman I.A.S, Collector of Thirunelveli District Preside over the function and

Mr R. Avudaiappan, Speaker, Tamilnadu Legislative Assembly, Mayor Mr A.L.Subramanian B.A.,B.L., Thirunelveli Corporation, Dr Mrs Jimla Balachandran MD(OG), Medical Superintendent, Thirunelveli Medical College Hospital, Dr Mr Palaniappan MD, Principal, Thirunelveli Medical College were participated in this function.

    

In 2010, the Asiatic Technical Research And Development Centre (ATRAD) was organized in this School. By this, the Embedded Technology Training is provided for Polytechnic, Engineering College Students. ATRAD also designs Embedded Based Projects for the above students.

In 2010, the Asiatic Science Centre was organized to Promote Science Education for the School Children during their Vacations.

In 2006, Our Student S. Ashok Kumar got State First Rank in the Trade Electronics. The Commissioner, Mrs Sivakami I.A.S., Department of Employment and Training, Chennai, awarded this Certificate in State Meet, held at Trichy.

Mr Panneer selvam M.E., Joint Director, Department of Employment and Training, Chennai and Mr Rajasekar M.Tech., Regional Joint Director, Department of Employment and Training, Thirunelveli were visited this School on 03.07.2007 and appreciate the State Merit Student, Staffs and the management.

Meeting and Work shop on Common Exam was held in Asoka Hall.

 

In 2007, Our Student M. Sadaipandi got State Merit in the Trade Electronics. The Commissioner, Mr Jeevarathinam I.A.S., Department of Employment and Training, Chennai, awarded this Certificate in State Meet, held at Chennai.

In 2009, Our Student R. Vignesh got State First Rank in the Trade Automobile.  Mr Rajasekar M.Tech., Regional Joint Director, Department of Employment and Training, Thirunelveli, awarded this Certificate.

 

 In 2010, Our Student S. Muniyandi got State First Rank in the Trade Electrical.

Mr Udaya Chandran I.A.S., Managing Director, Mahalir Thittam, Chennai along with Our District Collector Mrs Siji Thomos Vaithyan I.A.S., Inspect our School on 30.09.2009 and Consult with the Government Sponsored Students under Skill Development Training Program and verified the previous Placement Details, and finally appreciate the Training.

Job Oriented Training was Conducted to the N.A. Manjammal Polytechnic College Students in the following Categories.

1.   Television Servicing,

2.   Programming Logic Control Fundamentals and

3.   Computer Hardware.

These Courses were Inaugurated by Mr N.R. Subramaniya Raja the Correspondent, N.A. Manjammal Polytechnic College.

     

Free EDP Training was given to 25 ladies in the Topic “Saree Printing & Designing” from 30.08.2010 to 07.10.2010, Sponsored by Government.

Free EDP Training was given to 25 ladies in the Topic “Catering” from 01.09.2010 to 09.10.2010, Sponsored by Government.

   

The EDP Validatary function was celebrated on 09.10.2010 at “Vallalar Mandram” Mr N.S. Satheesh, Secretary, N.A. Annappa Raja Memorial Hr. Sec. School was preside over the function and Mr Kodiappan, A.H.M, N.A. Annappa Raja Memorial Hr. Sec. School also participated as Guest.

  

Mason Training was given by the Asiatic ITS to 150 trainees under Mahalir Thittam in N.A. Manjammal Polytechnic College.

  

Mrs Saroja, Project Officer, Mahalir Thittam, Collectorate inspected the Mason Training on 20.10.2010.

    

Honourable Minister Mr K.K.S.S.R. Ramachandran issues Certificates to the Youth Skill Development Training Beneficiaries.

  

Job Oriented Training was conducted to the Rajapalayam Rajus College Students in the following Categories.

1.   Electrical Fundamental,

2.   Two & Three Wheeler Mechanic,

3.   Four Wheeler Mechanic.

These courses were inaugurated on 10.07.2011 by the Support of Red Cross Society. Lecturer Dr Ramesh Kumar PhD inaugurated the Course.

    

In 2011, Our Asiatic R&D Division made tie up with M/S Micronova Impax

Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore, with their R&D Department. In 23^rd, 24^th & 25^th Jan, 2012, we Organise ISDR (Indian Software Defined Radio) workshop for Various Polytechnic & Engineering College Best Students (K.L.N. Engineering College, Madurai, P.A.C.R. Polytechnic College, Rajapalayam, N.A. Manjammal Polytechnic, Rajapalayam, Arulmigu Kalasalingam Polytechnic College, Krishnankoil, Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal Polytechnic College, Sivakasi, S.R.N.M. Polytechnic College, Sattur, Fransis Xavior Polytechnic College, Thirunelveli and our Students). This is the first work shop conducted in Tamilnadu and all the ISDR kits are finally working successfully.

In this work shop Mr Ram Prabu Dev, General Manager, R&D Department,

M/S Micronova Impax Pvt. Ltd, Mr Charu Hassan, Film Actor & Electronic People, Mr N.N.P. Suriya Narayana Raja, Rajiv Gandhi Award Winner For Amateur Radio Service, Mr Nagarajan, General Manager, KEYESAR Transports, Mr P.A. Kumarasamy Raja, Managing Director, Janakiram Automobiles were participated in this function. This program is covered by leading T.V. Channels and News papers. Full Practical was handled by

Mr Sudhindra Raja.

Note:  Mr Ram Prabu Dev was a Retired Scientific officer, Bharat Electronics Ltd, A Government Of India Organisation and worked as Professor in Indian Institute Of Science (IIS), Bangalore and also received the Rajiv Gandhi Science Award for his Service.  

 

 

 

 

On 25^th January, 2012, Disaster Communication Repeater Club Meeting with Technical Session was held in our Centre. In this many Amateur Radio Operators, Industrialists and Business Experts from all over Tamilnadu and Kerala including our Staffs and Students were participated and gained more.
